I’ve been wanting to teach Peanut how to button her clothes but have been unsure exactly how to go about it. I’ve seen button boards and we even have a quiet book with a button page but nothing really sparked her interest. So, I decided to try something different. I got one of my old Ziploc containers cut a slit in the top and filled it with large buttons. Peanut loves it!

When I first gave it to her she kept playing with it over and over. She even sneeked it in her suitcase to take to Papa and Meemaw’s for the weekend. Ha! Success.
Now for the next step. How did you teach your child to button her clothes?
