Last March we did a major overhaul of our sun room and turned it into a playroom/school room in preparation for the years to come. It was one of the best decisions we ever made because we now occupy that space for what seems like all-the-time. Currently, here’s what our school room looks like.
View as you first walk in the door of our school roomOur Imaginative Play Corner with a small kitchen, dishes, food, a doctor’s kit, and farm toysOur Book Basket Wall…yes, we love books. Our Play Corner with blocks of all shapes and sizes, wooden train tracks, puzzles, and play dough. Our Curriculum Supplement Corner including educational games, board games, Encompass printables, construction paper, magnetic letters, counting bears, etc.Our table area with magnets on the deep freezer for Teacup to play with and Peanut’s workbox station. Our supply cabinet which was recently overhauled in AprilThe inside of our supply cabinetOur homemade rotating school supply centerOur newest addition to the school room–an alphabet rug. We found it at Wal-mart and are loving it! It is so much easier to clean than our former alphabet foam letters. Yeah!
And just to give you a taste of a common scene in our school room, here’s a pic that seems to put it in perfect perspective. Got to love it!
