Play Room

I am so excited about homeschooling Peanut beginning next summer that I can hardly wait.  In the spirit of making school preparations (cause I’m a major planner), I’ve been contemplating how to best convert our sun room into a school/play room.  Such that, come last week I gave in and let my creativity juices flow.  Here’s the latest update.

Used baskets from the Dollar Tree to organize toys.

Used bricks left over from my parents remodeling project to hold up 2″x 8′ boards for bookshelves.

Used an old armoire to hold learning games and  balls.

Used brick pavers found around our house for book ends.

Still thinking about adding an area rug, a small bean bag for reading and some other homeschool supplies such as a calendar and morning board, but I’m well on my way.  What about you?  Do you have a play room or schoolroom organization idea that you totally dig?  If so, please share.  I’m always looking for more ways to make our learning area more efficient and fun.
