For the purposes of our study, the central African countries included:
- Cameroon
- Central African Republic
- Democratic Republic of the Congo
- Kenya
- Nigeria
- Tanzania
- Uganda
Due to time we did not focus on every country in the central African region, but we touched on most. In addition, some countries, such as Angola, are recognized both as central African countries and southern African countries. For our study, we included these with our southern Africa study. Other countries, such as Uganda, are recognized as eastern African countries and central African countries. For our study, we included these here with our study of central Africa.
