Last week I shared with you my goals for 2013 and the plan for this year which is to break those annual goals down into smaller bites using the goal setting resources I shared in my Blog-and-Home Notebook. As such, on the first Monday of each month I will be sharing my goal bites for the month both as a source of accountability and hopefully inspiration too. Here is my goal list for January:
As a Wife
- Go on a date
- Make reservations of a marriage conferences
- Begin reading Love Talk together
As a Mom
- Read Book 1 of the Little House on the Prairie series
- Finish preschool weeks 17-20
- Travel to visit parents once
- Call parents weekly
- Call brothers once
Spiritual Growth
- Memorize James 1:22-27
- Dissect 14 passages on the Sabbath
Physical Health
- Complete 3 hours of cardio per week
- Complete 15+ minutes of restance training per day
Mental Health
- Read Sent by Hilary Alan
- Read Raising Your Kids to Love the Lord by Dave Stone
- Read Setting Goals by John James Santangelo (e-book)
Upkeep
- Add trim to hall bath mirror
Finance
- Refinance mortgage
- Finalize 2013 budget
Organization & Decor
- Post Word Art in the Office and Dining Rooms
Blog
- Finalize switch to WordPress using the Genesis Framework
- Write/schedule one guest post
Choir
- Finalize our non-profit status
- Finalize summer music camp dates and location
- Sent out Solo and Ensemble contest reminders
Outreach
- Continue to serve as an Awana leader
- Invite a family over at least 2x per month
- Adopt a nursing home (more on what this means soon)
- Create blessings bags and share with those we see in need
