I don’t know about you but for me, Spring is NOT the time to do my deep cleaning. April always seems to be the busiest month for me with end-of-the-school-year deadlines, concerts, recitals, contests, and the like. As such this year I decided to move my deep cleaning routine to summer. The result has been great. We’ve slowly tackled one or two rooms a week and are almost finished. My girls have also enjoyed it too as they have gotten to “paint” the shower walls with soap, exchange toys, and play baseboard race cars (my secret game for having them dust the baseboards with a rag super fast).
Before beginning my cleaning routine though I gathered my wits and created this deep cleaning checklist so I wouldn’t forget something important in the heat of the moment. In case you are anything like me and this month ends up being a deep cleaning month for you, feel free to use this printable as a guide to a cleaner and fresher house. And if your routine is more of a Spring or Fall cleaning routine, pin it for later. It will still be here.
