If you have read posts of mine in the past you, know we love our morning board time. Every morning we review the topics of the week, our Bible verses, poems, math facts, etc. However, this past year I learned something with my two–my oldest loves to blurt out what she knows and my youngest rarely has time to think of the answer for herself.
Thus, I decided this year we would try individual Calendar Notebooks. This way the girls can both provide their own answers and have a record of their progress throughout the year.
To help with this process I created some calendar pages, and just in case you might want to use them too, I’m sharing them today for free!
Calendar Notebook Printables
I looked on the internet for calendar notebooking pages and finally decided to create my own because I wanted something concise and something that could be used over and over again, year after year without having to create something new. The result is what you see below, and I’m so excited because they not only cover the calendar, but weather, money, numbers to 100, time, place value, and more.
With daily use like this, my hope is that counting money and telling time becomes second nature. As Anne Post writes, calendar time provides a scaffold learning opportunity with several tie-ins to mathematics. In other words, calendar time is super important, especially in the early elementary years.

NOTE: This calendar incorporates United States money and date formats. If you live in countries other than the US your child can still use these printables. You may just have to omit a section or two in order for it to completely fit your needs.
