If you’ve followed me for any length of time on twitter or this blog you probably know my number one nemesis when it comes to organization is my pots and pans. Up until now I’ve despised having to put away my pots and pans after every use. I mean it wouldn’t be so bad if I had a cool slide out shelf like this…

…because then I could easily reach the back. Or if I had the height in even one of my shelves to put a cookie sheet organizer like this…

or hang my pots and pans like this…

…but I don’t. And with a kitchen remodel no where in our near future, I decided it was time I take the matter in my own hands and find something I COULD do about it. It actually all started with this box. It’s funny how God can use something as plain-Jane as a box to answer your homemaking prayers.

Cookie sheets and muffin tin pans where sliding all over the place. Lids were not staying with their pots and taking up valuable cabinet space. Every time I put something in the cabinet something else would fall out. It was driving me nuts. So when I saw that Amazon box, I knew I had a solution in the making. it was the perfect size to fit in my cabinets. However, I knew that a cardboard box would not look very appealing in the kitchen; it needed some color.
I cut the top flaps so that they easily folded inside the box and then used some leftover paint from a shed project to paint the box red.

Like mother like daughter. LOL. Looks like I’m going to have to make time for another organization project now. The cycle never ends, does it?
