You know you should be praying for your kids, but sometimes you just don’t know where to start. Even the disciples were stumped as to what to pray, and Jesus gave them an example to follow. These scriptures provide a great guide to praying for your kids. AND, you know as you pray you will be praying the heart of the Lord for your children.
Psalm 139
1 You have searched _______, Lord,
and you know [him/her].
2 You know when _______ sits and when [he/she] rises;
you perceive [his/her] thoughts from afar.
3 You discern _______’s going out and [his/her] lying down;
you are familiar with all [his/her] ways.
4 Before a word is on [his/her] tongue
you, Lord, know it completely.
5 You hem _______ in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon [him/her].
13 For you created _______’s inmost being;
you knit [him/her] together in [his/her] mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because _______ is fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
Romans 12:2
[I pray that _______ does not] conform to the pattern of this world, but [is] transformed by the renewing of [his/her] mind. Then [he/she] will be able to test and approve what [your] will is—[your] good, pleasing and perfect will.
Psalm 19:14
May these words of _______’s mouth and the meditation of _______’s heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Colossians 4:5-6

Philippians 1:9-11
