Favorite Book on Dieting:
Made to Crave by Lysa TerKeurst–This book is definitely not your typical diet book. In the book, Lysa takes a look at turning your desire from food to God. No where else have I seen a dieting focused book with the focus turned quite like this one. She also has a companion devotional book which is also great.
Favorite Healthy Eating Cookbook:
Healthy Meals for Less by Jonni McCoy–The first time I showed this cookbook to my mom, she immediately went and bought copies for the entire family. Why? It’s the only book I’ve seen that includes the recipe, the nutritional information of the recipe and the average cost per serving of the recipe. If you are trying to eat healthily on a budget, this is a definite plus. Add in the fact, we have added many of these recipes to our family favorites notebook, it’s a winner.
Favorite Exercise Book:
Making the Cut by Jillian Michaels–It’s been a few years since I completed this book the first time but I always tend to come back it. I won’t lie; the workouts in this book are a killer but definitely doable. After 30 days I can honestly say you’ll probably feel like you are in the best shape of your life.
Straggling to Strong Challenge Update
