Peanut has been setting the table lately and been feeling very responsible as a participating member of getting dinner on the table. However, we’ve been struggling with which side to put the fork on since it varies depending on table setting. So, I decided to make some easy table setting placemats for her to use as a guide. These have been so helpful such that I thought maybe some of your preschoolers might like to use them too! They print onto two 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheets of paper to create a full-size place setting. Just tape them together for one-time use or laminate them to use them over and over.

These are a delightful visual to teach youngsters how to properly set a table. Thank you for making them available to us!
Very handy! I’ll file this away for us to use with our kids . Thanks!
You are welcome! After only a few times, Peanut decided one day to try to set the table without them and now she puts the silverware right where they go perfectly. Oh…and she now loves folding napkins. Ha! Win-win. Have fun with them!
Good deal! They were so easy to make and definitely helpful for us. I laminated two sets of four at our local Mardel’s and it cost me $1.76 with tax so I felt like that was a great investment for 8 cleanable and reusable everyday placement. Enjoy!
I have been trying to teach my little girl how to set the table! These would be a big help! Thanks!
