Have you started to create some goals for this next year? I was reading the post by Money Saving Mom titled 24 Books I Plan to Read in 2012 which in turn motivated me to prepare my goals for 2012, especially in regards to what books I might want to read.
If you couldn’t tell from my book reviews, I enjoy reading a lot. I have a growing list of books I’d eventually like to read on my computer which now holds nearly 100 titles waiting to be read. Basically, anytime I find or hear about a book I might be interested in, I add it to the list. Then, when I’m trying to decide what to read next, if I don’t have anything specific in mind, I look through this list for some quality possibilities.
In addition to that, I also create a list of top “must reads” when I plan out each year’s goals. This year is no different. I have twelve titles I’d like to have read by the end of the year. I know there will be other things I will read as well but these are my first priority books–one for each month–centered around my year’s priorities of family life, children, blogging, and growing in Christ. Please note, each book is presented in no particular order and will probably be read in no particular order as well.
That’s it. Be looking for a review on each of these very soon for now I’m so excited I can’t wait to get started reading! Each time I go to the library to check out a book it’s like Christmas all over again.
How about you? Do you have any book reading goals for this next year? Or any favorites from years past you might want to recommend I add to my book bucket list? If so, please share!
