Finding something that begins with X is rather challenging! We finally chose Psalm 127:1 for this week’s verse as it begins with the “X” sound via “Except”, and Xylophone because there are just so many things you can do with xylophones even if the “X” doesn’t really have that “X” sound. This week Peanut discovered a new fun activity–t-ball. We purchased a discounted t-ball stand at Aldi and plastic bat and ball set at the Dollar Tree for some added PE fun. She enjoyed it so much that she had to show Meemaw when she visited and practice nearly every day in the garage (because when she hit the ball it would hit the garage door and come right back to her…instead of go into the street or the neighbor’s yard as we are redoing our fence). I was also amazed at how easy counting by 10s came for her. She’s already got them down pat and enjoys counting to 100 with much excitement because it’s SUCH A BIG NUMBER. LOL. I love the way she thinks. Only two more weeks left and we’ll be done with the alphabet! My how time flies.
