Encompass Preschool Week 22

Encompass Curriculum Logo

This is the week where Peanut began to realize just how much she has learned.  We started recording the poems she has memorizes and she kept going and going and going and going.  Numbers 0-20 are almost completely recognizable now as well as all her letters.  I think her favorite activity of the week though was cube grouping.  Don’t know why but she though that was so fascinating…well it was either that or pretending to be a spy with her spy glasses.  Either way, we are definitely on the downhill slide for this year which has caused me to start thinking–what are going we going to do next?!  I don’t know yet.  You’ll have to stay tuned.  Needless to say, if you have some ideas, I’d love to hear ‘em.

You are welcome! Peanut has definitely had fun looking up the countries on the globe these last few weeks. One of the things I’ve often read about teaching preschoolers is how important it is to help them expand their mind from themselves and it being all about them. I’ll let you know if this works. ;)
