My Goals for March 2013

In January I shared my goals for the year along with a promise to provide an update of my monthly breakdown at the beginning of each month.  So far, I’m off to a great start and can see a great benefit to having yearly, monthly, and weekly goals.  It makes projects feel so much more achievable!  Here’s my March update.

February Goals–A Look Back

Family

As a Wife
As a Mom
As a Daughter/Sister
  • Call parents weekly
  • Call brothers once

Personal

Personal Growth
  • Memorize James 2:1-9
  • Dissect 14 passages on the Sabbath
Physical Health
  • Complete 3 hours of cardio per week
  • Complete 15+ minutes of resistance training per day (Between sickness and a pulled muscle this is still a work in progress)
Mental Health

Home Management

Upkeep
  • Finish cold frame
  • Replace car tires
Finance
  • None this month
Organization & Decor 
  • Organize Office
  • Add Word Art to the Dining Room

Other

Blog
  • Write chapter for new iHN e-book called iBlog (more info on this soon!)
Choir
  • Finalize our non-profit status (still waiting on the government….)
  • Confirm Solo and Ensemble Invitational judges and location contract
  • Send Solo and Ensemble Invitational schedule out to participants
Outreach
  • Continue to serve as an Awana leader
  • Continue to open my home for a weekly women’s Bible study group
  • Invite a family over at least 2x this month

Personal Growth

  • Dissect 14 passages on the Sabbath
Physical Health
  • Complete 3 hours of cardio per week
  • Complete 15+ minutes of resistance training per day
  • Begin eating foods from the Farmer’s Market once it opens
Mental Health

Upkeep
  • Replace fence
Finance
  • Maintain current budget goals
  • Send off Income Taxes
Organization & Decor 
  • Re-organize bathroom cabinets

  • Write/schedule a guest post
  • Create a Facebook landing page and tabs

  • Finalize our non-profit status

  • Visit our adopted nursing home
  • Invite a family over 2x
  • Continue to serve as an Awana leader
