A Few Pics from Our Week

This week we talked about how O is for Octopus and incorporated several of Erica’s Octopus printables over at Confessions of a Homeschooler.

We also had a lot of fun during our art time mixing colors and making things look like a forest fire.
Did any of you notice Teacup in a few of those pics.  Yes, she is starting to want to be involved more and more.  At this rate she’ll know her entire alphabet by the time she’s two.  LOL.
We also worked with numbers, writing our last name and more.  It was definitely a fun, variety-filled week.
Fly swat numbers–such a fun way to practice number recognition
Tracing last name with sidewalk chalk
Which octopus will make it to the ocean first?  You’ll have to play to find out.
What have you been up to this week?

  4. I have fallen upon your blog by accident really. So far I am super jazzed! I am considering teaching my preschool aged daughters at home in the near future and your blog shows “it can be done!” More simple than that, it isn’t as daunting of a mountain as it sounds. I will continue to follow your blog and see how you tackle the weekly task of teaching your beautiful girls.

In downloading a few Encompass weeks to review and read I have noticed Week 15 Printable are showing as the Week 15 Lesson Plan. FYI.

    Enjoying your posts! Denise

  5. I see that you have a few lesson plans with printables and whatever needed for the lesson.

Do you have copies of all your lessons? areyou going to put them up for sale?
