Simply Said Vinyl Word Art Review and Giveaway

When it comes to decor around our house my motto has always been less is more, partly because I like the clean look and partly because I have a hard time convincing myself that spending a large sum of money on a framed piece of artwork is worth it.  It should also be noted that my husband doesn’t like to poke a lot of nails in the walls so I try to keep my hanging items to a minimum.  Thus, I’ve really come to enjoy a simple but beautiful alternative–Simply Said Vinyl Word Art!

At first I thought I’d try my hand at stenciling words on my wall, but when I found out how reasonably priced and how many painful hours were saved by using vinyl word art I was sold.  I’ve since bought word art for Teacup’s room, our bedroom, and our dining room.  And, I also hope to add some in the office and Peanut’s room eventually as it’s a great way to keep even a short snippet of scripture at the forefront of our minds.
For my latest addition that you see above, I ordered my word art from Simply Said Designs.  I found the process very easy and the catalog quite extensive.  They have word art for everything from family and faith to hobbies and pets and everything in between.  In addition, they have a large selection of colors to choose from so that each design chosen can truly be a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
How Do You Hang Simply Said Vinyl Word Art?

Simply Said Designs are basically stickers for your wall.  Armed with an application tool or a putty knife and a little bit of masking tape, you can easily transfer the vinyl word art from the packaged paper to your wall.  Although I have heard of other vinyl art designs occasionally being torn in the application process I had no trouble applying my large word art selection from Simply Said Designs. My only tip:  Make sure you go slowly.  Patience is key.  For a step-by-step demonstration check out this video:

Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.  Deuteronomy 11:18-20

  1. The wall space above our bed is still empty after nearly 2 years in our home. I would love to put something simple yet beautiful on that space. Even if we ever go ahead and put frames on the wall we can easily frame around the words. Should be fun to pick out something that will go along with our original ideas of putting up photos.
