Welcome to the last day of our 10-day Newspaper Activities series. Today’s creation is definitely the largest of the all and will most likely require a little help from dad or mom but it’s totally worth it!
For this activity I used the tutorial on Modern Parents Messy Kids with the suggestion to hole punch and pipe cleaner the ends found on Inner Child Fun to create a a fun indoor fort. The result is what you see below.
When all finished it is strong enough to hold up a sheet…
It makes a great indoor playhouse…
As well as a fun reading area…
Finally, this activity makes a great project for a grandparent’s house or a rainy afternoon. It takes about an hour to make, provides hours of imaginative play, is easy to tear down and is recyclable.
