Titus 2 Tuesday–Linky Party #20

This Week on Cornerstone Confessions:I completed week 2 of the Straggling to Strong Challenge and now have my sites set on another goal–getting more quality sleep.  Do you know how much sleep your body needs?  Or why?  I can definitely tell you I learned a lot while preparing this post and my bedtime routine habits are definitely going to be changing because of it.

Sleep…It Does the Body Good
When preparing to start homeschooling, I read A LOT of home school books.  This week I shared my 10 top favorites that I will be sure to refer to time and time again.

We had another fun week homeschooling.  If you need a few laughs, be sure to watch the first video from this week’s review.  So fun!

Okay, this is so cool!  Seriously, I am going to have to search for this.  Did you know that there is such a thing as an automatic toothpaste dispenser?!  How fun is that?  No more half wasted tube from someone dispensing too much at once.  No extra toothpaste in the sinks.  No toothpaste tubes falling into the trashcan because they were on the edge of the counter!  This is definitely going to get on my Amazon wishlist!  Thanks for the lead Hilda!

This next post is a great companion post to what I wrote about yesterday on sleep routines.  Morning routines are important for the success of your day.  Alana does a great job providing some tips for establishing a routine that will set the tone for your mornings.

Personal Favorites:

This first one is a doozy.  I’m not going to say much here other than if you have children, please read this.  Kelsi wrote it as a dare so in the name of the game, I double dog dare you to read this too.  ;)

What does the Bible say about keeping a clean house?  Do you know?  I love this spin on what it means to “be busy at home.”  Thank you Jessica for this encouraging perspective.

Now on to this week’s party….

Each week I will do my best to share a few of the most clicked links as well as a few of my favorites.  Be sure to check back here every Tuesday to see if you’ve been featured and to link up.  Now let’s get this party started.  I can’t wait to see what you have to share!

Party Guidelines:

  1. Post topics can include the topics of marriage, parenting, homemaking, devotional thoughts, time management, money management, organization, home decor, recipes, DIY, tutorials, and more.  If it would encourage another to be a Titus 2 woman, let us hear about it, but please refrain from including giveaways, sales, Etsy, or linky party posts.
  2. Link as many posts as like that have not been linked to Titus 2 Tuesdays before.  Remember, link to a SPECIFIC post, not your whole blog.
  3. Add a party button or text back link to your post.   My personal favorites always do.  ;) Why? Because doing so not only helps my SEO, it helps yours too.  By the way, only linking to your blog parties page at the end of your post really doesn’t help anyone’s SEO and neither does it qualify as a backlink.  Just sayin’.  Need help?  Html for a text link back:  Cornerstone Confessions
  4. Visit at least two other links and share some encouragement.
  5. Although not mandatory, I’d love it if you’d follow me in some way, shape or form.  I always enjoy making new friends.  And, if you follow me via RSS or e-mail you’ll receive a link to my Blog-and-Home-Planner Printables FREE as a thank you!

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.  Titus 2:3-5
