Titus 2 Tuesday–Linky Party #12

This Week on Cornerstone Confessions:

This week life was crazy with no A/C in our house but we still had some fun to share.  The post that seemed to draw the most attention was one about getting blogger’s to respond to you when you leave a comment.  Not getting a response?  Check this out.

Why Won’t This Blogger Write Me Back?!

I also shared a review of a highly popular Christian parenting book, “Raising Respectful Children in a Disrespectful World” by Jill Rigby.  To keep a long story short, I’m definitely going to be checking out some more of her books after this one.

Finally, I shared our third week of preschool, which included everything from a sun room campout to chalk portraits.  For more info and some free printables check out our third week of the Encompass curriculum.

Okay, I admit that cucumbers are not my go-to vegetable of choice, but these cucumber sandwiches with seasoned cream cheese definitely look inviting.  Maybe for my next picnic event….

I’ve been very excited to find Jamie over at The Unlikely Homeschool recently and this post proves one of my reasons why.  Not only does she provide some great homeschool tips she’s also a very encouraging writer.  Thanks for the reminder Jamie on why we as stay at home moms and homeschool parents do what we do…it’s for an eternal net worth.

I don’t know about you, but Christmas really hasn’t been the first thing on my list lately.  I mean its 100+ outside.  But that’s not the case over on Passionate and Creative Homemaking.  She’s been celebrating Christmas in July this WHOLE month!  Want some fabulous ideas to pin for this next Christmas?  Then check this post out.

Personal Favorites:

Every week Gail amazes me with her 1-minute devotions.  This one is no exception.  I mean, how would you approach your quiet time if you knew you were being paid $1000 an hour?

This recipe definitely reminds me of the old potlock supper days of church.  At least one person used to always bring something like this to our potlocks and I loved it every time.  Which makes me ask the question–why have I never made it?!

*Just as an added reminder, please remember to provide a link back in some form on your post.  There were several potential features this week whom I could not feature because they did not link back.  :(

Now on to this week’s party….

Each week I will do my best to share a few of the most clicked links as well as a few of my favorites.  Be sure to check back here every Tuesday to see if you’ve been featured and to link up.  Now let’s get this party started.  I can’t wait to see what you have to share!

Party Guidelines:

  1. Post topics can include the topics of marriage, parenting, homemaking, devotional thoughts, time management, money management, organization, home decor, recipes, DIY, tutorials, and more.  If it would encourage another to be a Titus 2 woman, let us hear about it, but please refrain from including giveaways, sales, Etsy, or linky party posts.
  2. Link as many posts as like that have not been linked to Titus 2 Tuesdays before.  Remember, link to a SPECIFIC post, not your whole blog.
  3. Add a party button or text back link to your post.   My personal favorites always do.  ;) Html for a text link back:  Cornerstone Confessions
  4. Visit at least two other links and share some encouragement.
  5. Although not mandatory, I’d love it if you’d follow me in some way, shape or form.  I always enjoy making new friends.  And, if you follow me via RSS or e-mail you’ll receive a link to my Blog-and-Home-Planner Printables FREE as a thank you!

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.  Titus 2:3-5
