Encompass Preschool Week 3 Review

This week marks our third week of preschool.  I think my favorite part of the day is when Peanut says, “I’m ready for school Mom” as she waits patiently to enter the school room.  She has developed this tradition that she can’t enter the room until I have rung the school bell.  Ha!  So fun.

This week our A/C broke in our house.  So we not only had school in our sun room, we also slept and ate there as well.  Thank goodness for that sun room window unit.  It made what could have been a 110 degree disaster into a fun campout.

Each week I will try to share our lesson plans and printables for you to download for FREE.  Each set of lesson plans is hyperlinked to online printables and other resources for your convenience.  For our home school experience we have chosen to use several excellent resources found across the web, books from the library, or our own creations to provide a comprehensive preschool experience at minimal cost.  While we do learn Bible verses, the ABCs, and 123s, I like to think of the Encompass curriculum as an organized play time that I get to have with my child each week.  We have fun coloring, painting, dancing, and more all while learning some of the basics of life.  I hope you’ll check it out and be sure to let me know what you think.  Happy learning!
