Titus 2 Tuesday–Link Party #7

Last week was Vacation Bible School at our church and the turn out was fabulous.  We had 18 classes of students (most with nearly 20 students in each class).  In my class there were about 15 each day and at least 3 of them came to know Christ throughout the week.  It was one amazing week!  It did mean for a little less focused blog week for me, but it was totally worth it.

Married But Acting Single on Bible Love Notes
In this short power-packed post Gail tugs at my heartstrings yet again.  The quote that reeled me in was, “As wives and mothers we are constantly faced with decisions to act like we’re still single and childless or act like a mature wife and mother.”  You ever feel like that?  I can think of an instance even today where I was asked to do something (at church no less) where they took no regard that I had two children under three in tow.  Definitely makes you look at your life in a different light.  Be sure to read the post on Warrior Wifes that she links to as well.  It’s fabulous too.

No Bake Energy Balls on Trick n Treat
If you are looking for a healthy low-cal pick me up, check this recipe out on Trick n Treat.  With only 4 ingredients, I think I may try them this next week.  Yum!

Personal Favorites:

Cornholes…the Saga on Crafted Niche
I remember when my dad first built our corn toss boards.  The word quickly spread through my friends such that they were making their own sets within weeks.  While our boards remain white Dana had fun sprucing these up a bit.  If you’ve never played, you should totally check the game out.  It’s something that kids and adults of all ages can get into.  My daughter was playing by the time she was one.  Can you believe they have national tournaments on these things?!

Absolutely Delicious Granola Bars on Domestic Randomness

These granola bars look delicious…okay they ARE delicious.  My daughter and I made them this afternoon as we couldn’t wait to try them.  Let me just say YUM!  We made half a batch and that was enough to fill one jelly roll pan full of what my daughter said was “yummy goodness.”  What I really loved though…the recipe makes a BIG batch AND there’s no baking.  In addition there are lots of yummy ingredients like cranberries, corn flakes, nuts, and other yummy crunchies. It’s a totally customizable recipe and a totally addicting one too!

Our Blessing Jar on Marty’s Musings
This is definitely something I would like to start doing once the girls learn how to write–a blessing jar.  Marty explains how she turned just an ordinary mason jar into a jar of blessing that lasts the whole year through.  The blessings are shared at Thanksgiving and then become the highlight of many scrapbooks to come.  Love it!

Now on to this week’s party….

Each week I will do my best to share a few of the most clicked links as well as a few of my favorites.  Be sure to check back here every Tuesday to see if you’ve been featured and to link up.  Now let’s get this party started.  I can’t wait to see what you have to share!

Party Guidelines:

  1. Post topics can include the topics of marriage, parenting, homemaking, devotional thoughts, time management, money management, organization, home decor, recipes, DIY, tutorials, and more.  If it would encourage another to be a Titus 2 woman, let us hear about it, but please refrain from including giveaways, sales, Etsy, or linky party posts.
  2. Link as many posts as like that have not been linked to Titus 2 Tuesdays before.  Remember, link to a SPECIFIC post, not your whole blog.
  3. Add a party button or text back link to your post.   My personal favorites always do.  ;) Html for text link back:  Cornerstone Confessions
  4. Visit at least two other links and share some encouragement.
  5. Although not mandatory, I’d love it if you’d follow me.  I always enjoy making new friends.  Also, feel free to spread the word so that we can make this the biggest and best inspirational party ever.  (<–Tweet This)

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.  Titus 2:3-5

  6. Thanks for the feature and hosting this great party each week!

  7. Just to let me know, that had tried all your buttons but they are not showing up! Hope you’ll fix them soon.

    • Hmmm…that is interesting because I just checked them and they all work. Could it be something at your end? Is anyone else having this trouble? I’m sorry they did not show up. That is so frustrating…for both of us.
